Volunteer Registration Is for local volunteers, if you are taking part in the event as an athlete, coach/manager, support person, PSO/MSO representative and/or official you need to register as a participant.

Volunteers must have a Criminal Background Check done prior to the Games. Criminal Background checks cost $15 and can be done on-line at https://ebackgroundcheck.kpf.ca/ebackgroundcheck.htm or in person at 705 Division St.. A $15 reimbursement will be provided by the Games Organizing Committee to all volunteers that submit their receipt for the Criminal Background Check prior to January 31, 2010. See below for instructions on how to do it on-line, in writing, and the process for out of town volunteers. Please note all information obtained for the purpose of the criminal background check will remain highly confidential. ONLINE: Link to www.KPF.ca and go to Criminal Background Check. Complete form, pay, and get receipt. When advised by Kingston Police that the check has been completed the volunteer must go in person to Kingston Police Headquarters, 705 Division Street, with photo ID (Drivers License or passport) and have the police witness signing of the form. A copy of the approved CPIC check we will be retained on file for the Games Organizing Committee to review.

IN WRITING: Volunteer obtains a blank form at the Kingston Police station, 705 Division Street, completes the form, legibly, in black or blue pen, take it to Kingston Police, police witness the form (photo ID required), volunteer pays, gets receipt. A copy of the approved CPIC check we will be retained on file for the Games Organizing Committee to review.

OUT of TOWN volunteers: Go online to complete and submit the form (as above). Pay $15 cost and obtain receipt to be submitted for reimbursement. Out of town volunteers MUST e-mail scanned photo ID (Driver's License or Passport) and your mailing address to ebackgroundcheck@kpf.ca. When check is completed and signed email form to volunteerkingston@OntarioParaSportGames.com
