The Games Organizing Committee is excited about the fact that many athletes will be competing in several of our brand new, state of the art venues. These include the Invista Centre, a four pad rink, where sledge hockey will take place and the Royal Kingston Curling Club for our Wheelchair Curling competitions. Both of these facilities just opened their doors this past year. The third venue is the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre which contains an outstanding 25 meter competitive pool and great courts for Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby. The Base Commander at Canadian Forces Base Kingston is looking forward to welcoming the athletes to the Military Sports Complex and providing outstanding support throughout the Games. All sport venue managers are committed to providing the best possible conditions for the competitions and want to ensure that they meet the athletes’ needs to the best of their abilities.
